 GRADUATES SYNERGY ACHIEVEMENTS

Gs achievements include:

Establishment of a nursery and secondary school at Kijitonyama

These were started purposely to enhance a possibility in which educational and curriculum improvement techniques can be channeled through. Teachers in these schools uses more advanced teaching methodologies than the past year’s to improve the quality of education and prepare graduates who shall bear self employment skills.

The Nursery school is called GS Nursery; and Secondary school is called GS Secondary School. Nursery school consists of about 50 pupils and secondary school consists of about 40 Form one students( to be form two by 2004) and 55 pre form one students( to be form one by 2004).

Establishment of youths anti HIV/AIDS clubs in primary schools

The clubs are running in Kijitonyama ward to equip knowledge and expertise in fighting with poverty and sexually transmitted diseases. The club’s meetings are held at GS’s premises every Sunday evening for coaching and ideas exchange. The program currently consists of about 40 members, running in about 8 schools, and more are expected to join.

Establishment Graduates Synergy Volunteers Service (GSVS)

The service offers educational and non educational assistance to various GS activities linked to its objectives. Service providers come from all walks of life including teachers, sociologists, publishers, engineers, business specialists, agriculturalists, …

Assistance to GS include teaching, project designing and implementation, Fund raising, brainstorming on how to develop existing projects, new program ideas, job search techniques exchange et cetera

The program invites more and more volunteers from all over Africa and other parts of the world.

Establishment of Graduates exchange program on Studies and Tours.

Tanzania is a famously known tourist country with very attractive Parks and mountains-Serengeti, Mikumi, Ngorongoro and Selou, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru are some of the few to mention tour sites.

This program is meant for graduates who want to acquire international exposure in education, tour and lifestyles abroad and in Tanzania. The program aims at promoting our tourist potentials we have in Tanzania by inviting tour groups from all over the world. We liaise with appropriate institutions and individuals abroad & in Tanzania to come up with a concrete program that will exchange graduates in a given period of time.

Institutions and individuals who are interested have to send applications direct to us and we look for the possibility of fulfilling their exchange need. The number of graduates to be involved shall be agreed according to the budget and vacancy.
